Aimee Hood - Science Communicator

Aimee Hood is the Regulatory Sciences Outreach Lead at Bayer Crop Sciences.  Her team of scientists has responsibility for communicating the safety and benefits of Bayer’s agricultural portfolio of products to a broad range of audiences.  She has been with Bayer for over 20 years, with previous roles in Strategy and Operations, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing.  She is proud to be a Bayer employee and is passionate about sharing stories highlighting modern agriculture innovations and countering misinformation.  Aimee is a STEM advocate and serves as president of a local high school’s advisory board and is a member of their Project Lead the Way Partnership Team.  She has a degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
